How does plant identification work?
PlantyTime uses an on-device AI model to identify plant species from photos. No image is sent to a server — recognition happens entirely on your device, so it works without an internet connection and your photos stay private.
What are leaf tokens?
Leaf tokens power the AI health analysis feature. You receive 3 free tokens every day. If you run out, you can watch a short optional ad to earn more. There is no subscription and no required purchase.
My identification result seems wrong. What can I do?
Try taking a clearer, well-lit photo of a single leaf against a plain background. The model works best with close-up shots that show leaf shape and texture clearly. If results are consistently incorrect for a species, let us know at [email protected].
I'm not receiving care reminder notifications.
Check that notifications are enabled for PlantyTime in your device settings. On iOS: Settings → PlantyTime → Notifications. Also verify that care schedules have been created in the app for your plants.
How do I delete my account?
You can request account deletion from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete Account) or via our account deletion page. All personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
